Principia was founded in 2005 by four engineers from Exponent, Inc. Our new venture is driven by the desire to focus on the fundamental practice of failure analysis and accident reconstruction. We offer the highest level of technical consulting services specializing in failure analysis, the analysis of root causes of accidents and product failures.

Our work encompasses many disciplines of engineering and science. Most accident and failure investigations involve multi-disciplinary efforts, and we have a breadth of experience that allows us to bring a wide variety of tools to bear on a particular problem.
